Sourced Locally

Made from assorted end bolt, discontinued and current fabrics woven in the USA by a famous Pacific Northwest mill, each comes with a leather tab cut from the waste generated by our coaster production.

Reclaimed Wool’s first wool potholders were made from recycled, post-consumer sweaters in 1998. This “Western” version has become a customer favorite since 2009.

  • Wool resists soiling and requires minimal washing. Wool, unlike cotton, is non-combustible - which means it will not suddenly “burst” into flame.

The wool fiber will self-extinguish once removed from the heat source, whether gas flame or electric burner.

  • The fabric is a double-faced jacquard weave comprised of 85% wool weft and 15% cotton warp.

Each one is lined with an additional layer of wool, then sewn with a signature multi-step zig-zag stitch chosen to ensure durability and years of service.

  • With proper care, your wool potholder will last for years, if not decades.

Spot clean with a damp sponge or damp terrycloth rag.

Hand wash is best. Machine wash is possible on a cold, gentle cycle. Dry Flat.

NEVER use a wet potholder no matter what the fabric content.
