This fabric is so lovely! A herringbone twill weave of a luscious pink with a cool violet gray thread. Don’t let the sweet colors fool you, though, this fabric is a terrific performer as a potholder.

Made from assorted end bolt, discontinued, medium and heavy weight tweed fabrics woven in the USA by a famous Pacific Northwest mill, each comes with a leather tab cut from the waste generated by our coaster production. The creamy colored tabs we chose for this fabric complement it perfectly!

Reclaimed Wool’s first wool potholders were made from recycled, post-consumer sweaters in 1998. Tweedy versions have been a customer favorite since about 2015 for those who appreciate a softer, flexible hand.

Tweed Potholders are always limited availability, so if you see something you love, now is the best time to purchase it!

  • With proper care, your wool potholder will last for years, if not decades.

Spot clean with a damp sponge or damp terrycloth rag. Let it dry flat.

Hand wash is best. Machine wash is possible on a cold, gentle cycle. DO NOT put your potholders in the dryer! Roll the potholder in a thick towel and Dry Flat.
